Courses cover a variety of relevant topics, including queer & trans history, relationships, WPATH Standards of Care, legal and estate planning for LGBTQ+ persons and families, dating, non-monogamy, parenting, and more. Live anti-racism classes are incorporated for an understanding of the interconnectedness of homophobia, racism, sexism, classism, ableism, anti-Semitism, ageism, etc., and how these shape our experiences. QTAP providers work to dismantle all forms of oppression. In addition to course work, students receive clinical mentorship from one of our mentors throughout the year, and attend the annual in-person Contemporary Relationships Conference.

Enroll anytime and work at your own pace. QTAP (Queer & Trans Affirming Professional) is a comprehensive training and certification program designed to prepare professionals to become knowledgeable, affirming, and culturally competent care providers for LGBTQ+ and gender diverse people. Through specialized education, practical application, and ongoing consultation, QTAP helps professionals build the skills and confidence to provide care that is respectful, responsive, and grounded in the lived experiences of the communities they serve.
